Episode summary
Derren makes a taxi driver forget about an obvious destination. He also plays chess against nine of the UK's top chess players.

fun and views reviews
Don't know if this was *the* suggestion, but at 5:07 when explaining it to Fry, Derren says "then you see a big three and a big heart" as his hands took the shape of a diamond. Then, he finished with "and burn that into your head" while his hands wrapped around his head, subtly gesturing a crown... He also snaps his fingers at the area where Fry picked the card. Not sure if it was never there to begin with, or he removed it and wrapped it (or another) around his own cigarette.

Episode summary
Derren shows more tricks of the mind, including predicting a person's pick out of 150 objects, drawing a building from memory, and a penalty shoot-out prediction.

fun and views reviews
Let's see... Big room, pick an Item: Derren has a tiny earpiece, they tell him which Item was picked and he pulls out the paper with that Item written. He has all of them. Excellent memory to know which is the right paper. Penalities: Camera trick. He writes the location just about after the player takes the shot. On editing they play it just a fraction earlier.

Among other tricks, Derren leaves a wallet on a busy street, but nobody takes it.

fun and views reviews
@silentdude99 Where on earth are you getting percentages from? Brain activity is usually measured by blood flow to various areas. If there were significantly increased blood flow to every part of the brain, not only would it be potentially deadly, it would also say nothing about the effectiveness of what the brain is doing at the moment, other than that it's activating every part, even the areas that are useless for whichever task it's doing. The brain doesn't work with percentages like a CPU.

Among other tricks, Derren uses a voodoo doll to restrict a woman's movements and makes a primary teacher transmit her thoughts to her pupils.

@TheMackan555 It has to do with over-flooding the conscious with many facts in little time so when he gives the subject a command he can understand like "Sleep", the unconscious is relieved that it finally understands something so the subjects does that and falls asleep... Of course at extremely advanced level involving NLP and other forms of manipulation.Derren uses a voodoo doll to restrict a woman's movements and makes a primary teacher transmit her thoughts to her pupils.
